From January 1, 2021. When importing goods from the EU, customs declarations must be made. These rules now apply to imports of goods from the rest of the world, including Switzerland, Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein.
You can make the declaration yourself, but most companies use the services of a courier, freight forwarder or customs broker.

Check the marking, labeling, and marketing standards for food, plant seeds, and finished products

Make sure you have an EORI number that starts with GB.
To import goods from January 1, 2021, you need an EORI number starting with GB.

Check the tax rate and duty you will have to pay.
You need to pay Duty and VAT on all your imports.

In some situations, you can delay the submission of the declaration up to 6 months after the arrival of the goods.
